Plans for Next Year

I had spent hours reading course descriptiosn and evaluations when I read on Facebook that Mira ran a personal record in the Marathon last weekend.  I realized how little courses mean to me.  By this point I know the limits of my intellectual curiosity.  Although there are benefits in getting to know great professors well, the opportunity cost is huge.

Here are things I want to do next year:

  1. Run the half Marathon.  This will likely take half a year of training.
  2. Play the guitar.
  3. Draw anime.
  4. Travel to see friends.  Explore America.
The last thing probably means that in the spring term I will only take courses on Wed and Thurs:
  1. Negotiation Workshop (WTh 3-7 4Cr)
  2. Securities Litigation (Th 9:50-11:50 2Cr)
  3. Legal Architecture of Globalization (WTh 1-2:30 3Cr)
  4. International Aspects of U.S. Income Taxation (WTh 8:40-10:10 3Cr)
First term is a little more flexible, with some of these courses
  1. Immigratin and Refugee Clinic (Th 4Cr)
  2. Legal Profession (MT 3-4Cr)
  3. Jurisprudence (MT 3Cr)
  4. Mergers and Acquisitions (T 2Cr)
  5. Japanese Law Film (W 2Cr)
  6. Legal Writing (MW 2Cr)
  7. Constitutional Law:  FIrst Amendment (4Cr)
